A truly unique antique piece, this fancy link chain has been extended in the past using silver curb links, making it wearable and versatile today. It is made of albo silver (registered in 1886), a rare antique material made by plating silver over base metal. It looks fantastic on, and can even be extended using other pieces.
We have left this one in the original condition we found it in, giving it a gentle polish to retain patina. There are a few mismatched links throughout, shown in photos - these are tricky to spot when worn and are part of the piece's originality and history.

Condition: Overall lovely antique condition. Both dog clips work well - the lever of one of them sticks out slightly but is very secure. Some mismatched links are used throughout the piece, please read description above.

How do you authenticate your pieces?
We carefully assess every piece using our gemmological training, specialist tools, and industry experience. We are both studying toward the Graduate Gemmologist (GG) qualification with GIA (Gemological Institute of America) and have completed the Applied Jewelry Professional (AJP) and Graduate Diamonds (GD) qualifications.
We also work closely with our jeweller, who has almost 50 years of experience and is a qualified gemmologist.
Carat weights are estimates based on measurements taken in the setting unless otherwise stated. Precise weights can only be obtained from loose stones. Many of our diamonds are old cuts, which are often asymmetrical and not calibrated due to traditional hand-cutting techniques.

Do US customers have to pay tariffs or duties?
No - for United States customers, the price shown includes insured DHL Express shipping and import duties/tariffs.
This means there should be no separate DHL bill for these charges on delivery. We always ship at full declared value so your parcel stays compliant, secure, and fully insured.
