An exceptional antique gypsy ring in rich 18ct gold, set with a lovely trio of stones: a central old mine cut diamond (natural, I1 clarity, G colour) flanked by two glowing natural sapphires. Each stone is star set deep into the gold, creating the tactile and beautiful look that gypsy rings are so loved for. The ring is 7.5mm wide at the front, tapering to 3mm at the back and with a luxurious weight. It was made in Birmingham, England by Abraham Meyer Blanckensee, with the maker's mark placing it circa 1900. We love the contrast of the vibrant sapphires and the sparkly diamond! This is a stunning heirloom-worthy piece that is easy to wear and will be a highlight in any jewellery collection.

How do you authenticate your pieces?
We are both studying to obtain the Graduate Gemologist qualification from GIA (Gemological Institute of America), and use our knowledge and specialise tools to assess our pieces thoroughly. This includes testing metals, gemstones, researching marks and taking measurements.
We also work with our jeweller, who has 40+ years of experience and is a qualified gemmologist.
All carat weights given (unless specified otherwise) are estimates based on measurements taken in the setting. Precise measurements can only be given on stones that are loose and weighed separately. The majority of diamonds that we stock are old cuts - these are often asymmetrical and not calibrated due to traditional hand cutting techniques.
We aim to provide photos/videos from different angles to help you make an informed decision.
Do you offer ring resizing?
We sure do! We want to make the purchase of antique and vintage jewellery as easy and fun for you as possible, and making sure a piece is the perfect size for you is important to us. Please get in touch and we'd be happy to help with getting a ring resized. This costs $50 AUD, plus any additional material costs if sizing up.
Do you offer layaway/payment plans?
We're happy to offer a layaway (also known as layby) service on orders over $500 AUD to help make your jewellery dreams come true with payments over time.
A 25% deposit is required to secure your piece, with the rest paid in instalments that we agree on. This is generally a total of four payments over four months including the deposit, but we're flexible. To set up a layaway on this piece, please contact us by submitting the below form.
