This beautiful Victorian ring bears a lovely hand engraved inscription with two names and an 1887 date. The gold tests as 18ct but could be a slightly higher purity (we are thinking 20ct or so). The ring shows its age in gorgeous and subtle ways, with wear commensurate with age such as patina, small nibbles and a well loved feel to it. A little piece of history that stacks up with other rings well and contributes a stunning golden glow - we love this piece!

How do you authenticate your pieces?
We carefully assess every piece using our gemmological training, specialist tools, and industry experience. We are both GIA Graduate Gemmologists and have also completed the Applied Jewelry Professional (AJP) qualification.
We work closely with our jeweller, who has almost 50 years of experience and is also a qualified gemmologist.
Carat weights are estimates based on measurements taken in the setting unless otherwise stated. Precise weights can only be obtained from loose stones. Many of our diamonds are old cuts, which are often asymmetrical and not calibrated due to traditional hand-cutting techniques.
