This beautiful pendant was lovingly converted by our jeweller from an antique fob seal. The original setting (gold over metal, most likely silver) for the gorgeous white chalcedony has been expertly retained, with a new 9ct gold bail and jump ring. The sweet intaglio carving shows heart with a Cupid's arrow going through it. We love that this little piece of history has been made so wearable, a lovely piece from afar with the special reward of a gorgeous carving to look at up close!

Size: Pendant face measures 9.5mm L x 8.5mm W. Whole pendant including bail and jump ring measures 16.5mm L. Oval jump ring is 5mm x 3mm.
Weight: 0.9g
Markings: None present, confirmed as gold over metal (most likely silver). New jump ring marked 9ct.
Condition: Setting has been checked as secure by our jeweller. New 9ct gold bail and jump ring has been added to the top of the original setting (marked 9ct). Some small nibbles to the stone, commensurate with age.

We carefully assess every piece using our gemmological training, specialist tools, and industry experience. We are both GIA Graduate Gemmologists and have also completed the Applied Jewelry Professional (AJP) qualification.
We work closely with our jeweller, who has almost 50 years of experience and is also a qualified gemmologist.
Carat weights are estimates based on measurements taken in the setting unless otherwise stated. Precise weights can only be obtained from loose stones. Many of our diamonds are old cuts, which are often asymmetrical and not calibrated due to traditional hand-cutting techniques.
We aim to provide clear photos and videos from multiple angles to help you purchase with confidence.
Do US customers have to pay tariffs or duties?
No - for United States customers, the price shown includes insured DHL Express or Australia Post shipping and import duties/tariffs.
This means there should be no separate bill for these charges on delivery. We always ship at full declared value so your parcel stays compliant, secure, and fully insured.
