The kind of ring that we're always dreaming about! An extraordinary survivor from the mid-Victorian era, this antique ring is a piece that stops you in your tracks. The ring has a wonderfully solid, weighty presence - the kind that you feel as soon as you put it on. The amazing large central garnet is starset and framed beautifully by the flush set natural ruby side stones. The stones are gorgeous, so full of life and shine. On the inside, the English hallmarks are deep, crisp and amazingly preserved. This is a piece that's made to be worn and treasured, one of the finest we've ever had the privilege of offering. It's an amazing rare piece for any collection!

Condition: Absolutely beautiful antique condition. Some small nicks to the gold. Stones are secure, settings have been checked and tightened. Light evidence of past resize on the inside of the band (not visible from the outside). Hallmarks are deep, crisp and clear.

How do you authenticate your pieces?

We are both studying to obtain the Graduate Gemologist qualification from GIA (Gemological Institute of America), and use our knowledge and specialise tools to assess our pieces thoroughly. This includes testing metals, gemstones, researching marks and taking measurements.

We also work with our jeweller, who has 40+ years of experience and is a qualified gemmologist.

All carat weights given (unless specified otherwise) are estimates based on measurements taken in the setting. Precise measurements can only be given on stones that are loose and weighed separately. The majority of diamonds that we stock are old cuts - these are often asymmetrical and not calibrated due to traditional hand cutting techniques.

We aim to provide photos/videos from different angles to help you make an informed decision.

Do you offer ring resizing?

We sure do! We want to make the purchase of antique and vintage jewellery as easy and fun for you as possible, and making sure a piece is the perfect size for you is important to us. Please get in touch and we'd be happy to help with getting a ring resized. This costs $50 AUD, plus any additional material costs if sizing up.

Do you offer layaway/payment plans?

We're happy to offer a layaway (also known as layby) service on orders over $500 AUD to help make your jewellery dreams come true with payments over time.

A 25% deposit is required to secure your piece, with the rest paid in instalments that we agree on. This is generally a total of four payments over four months including the deposit, but we're flexible. To set up a layaway on this piece, please contact us by submitting the below form.
