A rare and striking antique piece, we love how minimalist this locket is, with a bold bloodstone shield to its front. The back features a subtle rampant lion engraving, mostly rubbed away over time. This piece opens and closes with a satisfying click, and has an empty interior that you can add a small photo or memento into. With a gorgeous look, weight and size, this is a wearable little piece of history and fantastic piece for any collection.

Condition: A lovely piece that's over 100 years old and showing some signs of wear. Opens and closes securely. Remnants of a rubbed lion rampant engraving to the back of the locket. Some very small dents/nicks to gold and light areas of tarnish/solder around bail. Bloodstone in good condition, with small chip and natural variations in colour and pattern. Clean interior with nothing inside.

We work closely with our jeweller, who has almost 50 years of experience and is also a qualified gemmologist.
Carat weights are estimates based on measurements taken in the setting unless otherwise stated. Precise weights can only be obtained from loose stones. Many of our diamonds are old cuts, which are often asymmetrical and not calibrated due to traditional hand-cutting techniques.

No - for United States customers, the price shown includes insured DHL Express or Australia Post shipping and import duties/tariffs.
