One cabochon shows slightly more natural inclusions than the others, but this does not detract from the overall beauty or balance of the piece. No visible indications of heating or other treatment.

Why we love it
This is one of those pieces that feels genuinely special - not only for what it is, but for the little journey it took to become complete again. We found this gorgeous ring with one cabochon missing, and immediately felt it was too good not to save. While we were in Bangkok completing our GIA Graduate Gemologist exams, we had a matching pink sapphire cabochon specially cut and fitted for it. The result is so satisfying - the new stone sits beautifully with the others and completes the ring in a way that feels seamless.
It's hard to overstate how rare and charming this piece is: antique 15ct gold, five vibrant natural pink sapphire cabochons, beautiful colour, a comfortable low profile setting and a restoration story that is now part of its life. A very special ring, and one that will always remind us of Bangkok.

How do you authenticate your pieces?
We carefully assess every piece using our gemmological training, specialist tools, and industry experience. We are both GIA Graduate Gemmologists and have also completed the Applied Jewelry Professional (AJP) qualification.
We work closely with our jeweller, who has almost 50 years of experience and is also a qualified gemmologist.
Carat weights are estimates based on measurements taken in the setting unless otherwise stated. Precise weights can only be obtained from loose stones. Many of our diamonds are old cuts, which are often asymmetrical and not calibrated due to traditional hand-cutting techniques.
We aim to provide clear photos and videos from multiple angles to help you purchase with confidence.
Do US customers have to pay tariffs or duties?
No - for United States customers, the price shown includes insured DHL Express or Australia Post shipping and import duties/tariffs.
