Why we love it
There is something so satisfying about a good antique cigar band - simple, golden, and full of presence.
This one is crafted in beautiful 15ct yellow gold, with a lovely 6.8mm width that feels substantial without being too much. The edges fold in ever so slightly, giving it a rounded, comfortable feel on the finger - almost like a little gold hug when worn.
It has that wonderful mellow antique patina we love, along with a nice clear stamp and the kind of character that makes a plain gold band feel anything but plain. There is a past resize line visible on the band, but we feel it sits very naturally within the life of the piece and does not take away from its charm.
Most likely Australian made, this is such a fantastic piece to wear on its own, but it would also be incredible stacked with other antique bands, signets or diamond rings.

We carefully assess every piece using our gemmological training, specialist tools, and industry experience. We are both GIA Graduate Gemmologists and have also completed the Applied Jewelry Professional (AJP) qualification.
We work closely with our jeweller, who has almost 50 years of experience and is also a qualified gemmologist.
Carat weights are estimates based on measurements taken in the setting unless otherwise stated. Precise weights can only be obtained from loose stones. Many of our diamonds are old cuts, which are often asymmetrical and not calibrated due to traditional hand-cutting techniques.
We aim to provide clear photos and videos from multiple angles to help you purchase with confidence.
Do US customers have to pay tariffs or duties?
No - for United States customers, the price shown includes insured DHL Express or Australia Post shipping and import duties/tariffs.
